Welcome to my Studio

Welcome to my Studio

Welcome to my Studio!!

This has been such a long time coming, and an absolute dream come true to give my artwork a place it can flourish.

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Megan Long Konopa. I’m an artist, a wife, a mother, a homesteader, a plant lover and so much more. My love for art started as a very young child. I was five years old when my mom first taught me how to sew. You see my mother is a very talented textile artist and my dad a skilled woodworker. Together they built and outstanding business and even graced the pages of magazines. A lot to live up to right!

At seven years old, my mom introduced me to macramé when we were making tassels for an historical job she was working on. I took that and ran with it! Instantly getting a book from our local library and teaching myself how to make beautiful things. From there, I also worked with my dad to learn how to perfect my woodworking skills. When I say he could take a drawing of something and make anything, I mean it! Coming from such a creative background, I knew that art would have a significant place in my heart, and in my life. During my toughest struggles, art helped me survive. Giving me a creative outlet & in the darkest of times, a light to guide me. After apprenticing under my parents and other artist for many years, I attended college for art to lean into my talents and grow my skills. Although motherhood took a hold before I could achieve my masters, I do have my bachelor of art, as well as an associates in fine arts. I’ve spent my entire life working towards this moment of being able to start my Studio and share my love of art with the world.

My passion for art is ever growing as you will find many styles of artistic expression coming from my studio. I welcome you all to my world of creativity!
